Bay House Students Make Their Mark!

‘Make your Mark’ is the largest youth voice consultation in Europe and since it began over 5 million 11-18 year olds have taken part.  Pupils could choose from 10 issues and select the one that matters to them the most.  The top three issues will be debated in Parliament in the House of Commons later this year.

World Book Day

Bay House Sixth Form

With over 480 students, Bay House Sixth Form secures exceptional A Level exam results year-on-year, placing the Sixth Form amongst the highest achievers in the country.

Congratulations to our A Level students. 

We are so pleased that 82% of your grades were A*-C, with many of you achieving all A’s and A*’s. The A*-E pass rate is 99%. Our students on vocational courses have also been successful, with ICT (100% Distinction*-Distinction) and Health and Social Care (60% Distinction*-Distinction) students achieving exceptionally high grades.

Many of you have been accepted onto your first choice university at a wide range of destinations including Oxford and Cambridge.  5 students from Bay House will be going on to study Medicine and 1 will be studying Veterinary Medicine.

A Level Results 2022

Student numbers have grown rapidly in the wake of outstanding examination results: the A Level A*-C pass rate was 88% in 2022, with the A*-A pass rate
being 39%

The Sixth Form examination results in 2022 were outstandingly good. The A Level pass rate (A*-E) was 99%, broken down in percentage terms as follows: A* – 16.4%, A* – A – 38.7%, A* – B  – 68%, A* – C – 88.2%, A* – D – 96.3%, A* – E – 99.1%

Sixth Form 2023-24

Applications are now being accepted for Bay House Sixth Form 2023-24.

Sixth Form exam results

Bay House sixth formers have once again secured exceptional A Level results placing them amongst the very highest achievers in the country for 2018.

  • A*-C grades 90%  (national: 77%)
  • A*-B grades 67%  (national: 53%)
  • A*-E pass rate 100%  (national: 98%)
