The Met Office have released a yellow weather warning for snow and ice for Gosport for later today and into tomorrow (Friday 1 February).
At this stage we are anticipating that school will be open tomorrow, however, should a decision be made to close, then parents/carers will be notified as early as possible (before 7.00am) via text message and on the website.
A decision to close the school is never one that is taken lightly but the safety of the pupils and staff is our number one priority at all times. School will only close if we feel that snow and ice has made the site unsafe or if we are unable to safely provide for the pupils because teaching staff are unable to get to school. Some of our teaching staff live a reasonable distance from the school and would be unable to walk to work.
