A huge well done to everyone involved with this year’s art exhibition.
Hosted at Fort Brockhurst, over 500 visitors enjoyed a range of displays created by Sixth Form students.
Congratulations to Fiona Serle, Amie Westphal, Gracie Brown and Lili Kurzfeld who won Arts Awards.
The upper sixth students used the opportunity to showcase their A level final coursework projects.
Inspired by the Fort, some lower sixth students embraced the historic structure by using crumbling brick as a medium.
Pieces were arranged so visitors could explore hidden corners of casemates, staircases and alcoves.
Students also had to be conscious on their impact on the site, creating self-support installations or pre-existing fixings to avoid damage on the monument.
