The Department for Education A Level performance tables for 2014 place Bay House Sixth Form in the top 1% for value-added performance out of all 4,303 schools and colleges in England.
This includes both maintained and independent schools and colleges.
Our average A Level grade (B-) is the highest of all maintained schools and colleges in Hampshire.
The percentage of students achieving AAB in two or more ‘facilitating’ subjects (those generally required for entry onto degree courses) at 23%, is ahead of Peter Symonds College, Winchester (22%), Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, Eastleigh (8%), Havant College (7%), Itchen College, Southampton(2%) and St Vincent College, Gosport (1%).
The fantastic results show that outstanding performance can be achieved with students opting for a rigorous A Level curriculum that is exceptionally well-taught.
Huge congratulations to all of the students and staff who contribute to the continuing success of our Sixth Form.
