Critical Worker Childcare Provision

Applications for Critical Worker childcare have to be made in light of the Government announcement that all people are to stay at home except for essential reasons.

The Prime Minister’s message is clear – stay at home unless you have no option. This is extended to childcare provided in schools. Only send your child to school if you are a critical worker and have absolutely no other option. If there are any adults at home, then they should be arranging childcare.

We are very grateful to the number of parents who have minimised the demand on the service because this allows us to more effectively implement social distancing and keep children safe.

All parents will require some form of identification for their Critical Worker Status when dropping off the child for childcare. Please bring to the signing desk a copy of your work ID / Shift Pattern / Letter from your employer outlining the number of hours required. You will be required to complete an application form.
