Sadly, this year, 7 bikes have been reported to us as stolen. Here are a few facts:
- 5 of the 7 were stolen from outside the school gates
- 4 of the 7 were unlocked
- 2 of the bikes were recovered using CCTV and other methods of investigation
- No bike has been reported stolen from being locked inside a pound.
We are lucky to live in such a great place for cycling. Please help us to reduce the number of bike thefts by ensuring that your children lock their bikes inside the correct pound.
And finally, please encourage pupils to walk their bikes down the driveway, cycle safely and wear their helmet every day.
