Members of the Bay House Politics Society PoliSoc visited Parliament recently as well as the Supreme Court and Downing Street. They were also lucky enough not only to see the Changing of the Guard at Horseguards Parade but also met up with our local MP Caroline Dinenage who took time out of her busy schedule to answer questions from the group. Ranging from Year 7-13, the Politics Society meet every week to engage in friendly debates about current issues – recently they have discussed the climate change action, Brexit, Russia and Donald Trump. The group also met with our local UK Youth Member of Parliament recently, as well as taking part in the Gosport BC Mayor Making ceremony earlier this year. Anyone is welcome to come along and join in and future debates, speakers and visits are already being discussed.
