We are aware of a press report circulating about a sickness bug affecting pupils and staff in the school.
Although we have had no specific reports or cases of the Norovirus, a thorough deep clean of the school was completed as a routine and precautionary measure a few days ago.
At Bay House School and Sixth Form we take the safety of both pupils and staff very seriously.
Our safeguarding risk assessments lead us to be confident about keeping the school open. If the situation changes then we will, of course, make decisions as appropriate.
