This morning we completed a dynamic risk assessment to assess the impact of the strike action on our capacity to open the school.
Due to the volume of staff who have withdrawn their labour today, we need to close the school to all pupils in Years 7-11.
We recognise the potential disruption to you and your child’s education this may cause.
Upper Sixth mock examinations will go ahead as planned today. Students sitting a mock examination today should attend as detailed on their examination timetable. Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth Form students who do not have a mock examination, may choose to either work independently at home or come into school from 10.00am where supervised independent study will be available.
For those learners in receipt of Free School Meals, a voucher will be emailed to the relevant families.
Pupils in Years 7-11 are encouraged to use their existing Google Classroom resources for revision, along with their exercise books, folders and the online work described below to review and extend their learning so far this term:
