We would like to praise Year 9 students Alice, Cole and Roisin for helping in a medical emergency to a member of the public.
The students helped call an ambulance and support a family after an allergic reaction to a sting.
Alice said: “We heard someone shouting and thought someone was hurt, then we heard a mum crying and ran over, and asked if they needed a hand. She then asked us to call an ambulance and we alerted the family members to what had happened.”
Associate Headteacher, Luke Adderley, said: “I’m really proud of Alice, Cole and Roisin. They were lucky to be in the right place at the right time and responded to help a family that really needed them. We’ve been talking a lot in assemblies this week about kindness and ‘building communities together’. This is a great example of our students being fantastic members of the community.”
