With the announcements this week about households being invited to accommodate Ukrainians escaping the war, the GFM is keen to help.
We are thinking that if someone from the Ukraine has experience of working in an educational setting and will be residing in Gosport, we would want to support them by offering to have them feel wanted within our school communities. The exact details of how this might work are yet to be worked out. The intention of this message is to let you know that we can work together if you are thinking of hosting a Ukrainian.
As more is understood about the government’s scheme, we will know better how our working together might be arranged. It may be that the GFM can sponsor a refugee.
