It is essential that you discuss your ideas fully with teachers and parents. Further details of the content of courses may be obtained from the appropriate Head of Department. Applications should be submitted electronically via the link.

Students from other schools

Students who join Bay House from other schools are full and equal members of the Sixth Form. At present, the Sixth Form contains students from more than a dozen schools other than Bay House, amounting to approximately half of the total student body.

Further information on how to apply can be obtained either from the careers staff of your present school, if you live locally, or the Sixth Form Office at Bay House, or online.

Applications should be submitted electronically when the application process opens on Friday 13th October 2023.

All students entering the Sixth Form follow a weekly timetable of twenty-five 1 hour periods.

As well as examination courses, students’ programmes normally include short courses, physical activities/work experience or community involvement and private study. Many combinations of courses are available, but whilst the School will endeavour to satisfy every reasonable request, staffing and other considerations may rule out some options.

We also offer Alternative Level 3 Pathways in ‘Healthcare’ – reduced entry requirements for these courses can be found on the course information pages.
