Ian Potter leaves the GFM at the end of this summer term to take up his retirement after 22 years of school leadership in Gosport. In his time as Headteacher of Bay House School, and for the last seven years leading the GFM as its CEO, he will have been known by countless children, families, colleagues and others in our community and the teaching profession.
Geoff Walls has taken on the Interim CEO role and Ian is supporting him as Outgoing CEO for the duration of this term. This transfer of CEOship responsibilities and accountabilities now to Geoff Walls ensures a seamless and smooth transfer of Executive authority in the GFM and provides a consistency and certainty of leadership that is in the best interests of the organisation.
